Society.. fuck its the main thing that pisses me off! People expect you just know everything and yet they treat you like shit. You have to have a certain image in order to fit into what they believe is normal and if you don't your a freak, you get moms who dream that their daughter will be normal and wear pink and like boys and not be into what they think is satanic music just because it has a guitar in it thats hooked up to a distortion pedal, you have dads who expect their sons to just know everything and play sports and be a mans man but thats not the real world! You cant tell a person what to do and what to believe you have to accept people for who they are. Then you get the religious people who believe that if you don't praise some fictional person known as god you will burn in hell! I would rather burn in hell than be a religious freak. Yes I have a religion, I am Wiccan and most people will say that its satanic but its really not! These people should look thing up and do research before calling anything satanic. Most of these "christain" holidays are based on Wiccan and pagan holidays. Please people be open minded and stop expecting people to just fit in, the world needs people who don't fit in. do you think that Einstein was the most popular kid in school, no, but he still invented the 3 main laws of physics. do you think that any of the founding fathers of the United States were popular at school, no, but they brought the country into a democracy that people now live happily in, do you think that Shakespeare was popular? No! But he wrote plays that we still learn and study to this very day. People need to realize that there is more than being a fake plastic Barbie and a mans man in life. There are other people out there like me, who just cant stand what this world has turned into. In order to fit into what society wants you need to wear the right shirt or have the right shoes and your not cool if you don't have this game or that console. Get a grip on reality! Honestly you are all full of shit and need to get over yourself. I will say it again! I WILL NOT CONFORM TO WHAT SOCIETY WANTS ME TO BE!!! I am not a plastic Barbie who will only listen to house and think that if I hook up with guys I'll be "cool"! I am the girl who listens to nickel back and cannibal corpse! The people who annoy me are the ones who are so closed minded that they can't even see the bigger picture because they are so far up their fucking asses! The people who believe that if you have tattoos and piercings your a metal head or a slut and you probably do drugs or the people who listen to metal and if you listen to anything else your a freak because its not metal enough or the house bunnies who think that if you listen to linkin park your evil and satanic! People you need to realize that you get others out there are have open minds and don't just do what you say they should! At this very moment I'm listening to trivium and later what I take my nap to catch up on the sleep I need I'll probably fall asleep listening to Creed! Oh you think thats weird? Get over yourself! I am who I am! I of course will refuse to listen to degrading songs of woman that get played on the radio and because I'm a vocalist I only enjoys songs that have a proper band and lyrics in the song but only songs were the lyrics actually mean something! Not just a line that is repeated through out the whole song like most house songs! That I cannot stand. I also cant stand when a song has nothing good in it but people praise it! Now that I'm not the topic and music there is something that annoys the holy living fucking hell out of me! It's the people who find a band and listen to them and then go mad over the vocalist or bassist and the band becomes just that person, I'll give you an example, 30 seconds to mars, the music is great but girls will only listen to it because of Jared Leto. That pisses me off to fucking dizzy heights! The second example I'll give you is fall out boy, the bassist Pete Wentz has become the front man for the band yet he is only a bassist and not the real bands bassist either, I know this because I went to a fall out boy concert and I play bass and what the key that the song was in was not anywhere on the fret board that he was playing. He is a band image, they placed him there as a band mate to sell music. He can't play bass to save his or his moms life! Now with all the bands I have mentioned can you tell me who the drummer is? Or the guitarist? No because most of you only listen to the music because of the one person everyone is going mad about! It's pathetic and annoying! I would rather know no one in the band and listen to the music than listen to the music because of one person! You could ask me who the singer of cannibal corpse is and I will be honest I don't know who he is, I just know that the band is good in my opinion. You could ask me who the front man for Soilwork is and I'll be honest and say I don't know. I just know that I like the music and if I wanted to know who was in the band I would Google it and then I would know but its a fact that I'll forget who they are after a few hours because I honestly don't care, all I know is I like the music and I would rather listen to the band than just listen to the one guy! Yes in my past article Labels In Society I did have a lot to say about the clicks of this world and I don't believe you should belong to a click! I believe that metal heads can be friends with rockers and punks and I believe that Goths can be friends with house bunnies. I would even encourage it! The musical education we could learn from each other is amazing! I live in a house with an older brother, a younger brother, my mom, her boyfriend and my god parents so you can imagine the differences in music. My mom has an obsession with Westlife and my older brother is a house bunny where as my little brother enjoys jay-z and lil wayne and those guys, My moms boyfriend well I don't know what music he is into and neither do I with my god parents music, I as you know listen to cannibal corpse on a daily bases and in that mix I also listen to trivium and other music so you can imagine what my family thinks of me. I was never raised listening to cradle of filth, no instead my mom tried to make me like her and dragged my ass to 4 Westlife concerts in one year, after awhile I had a major respect for the band because of their stage presence and to be brutally honest I would go back to one of their concerts because I could learn a lot from their stage presence. I went to a U2 concert and I enjoyed it. I didn't know much about U2 but my moms work gave her 2 tickets and I went with and I had a good time listening to them and the stage presence was amazing. I learned a lot from them and I even bought myself a U2 shirt. But lets move off the music subject because there is another thing about society that annoys me (wow big shocker!) And I need someone to answer this question for me because I don't get it, why is it that when a guy sleeps with 20 girls in one night he is legend but if a girl hooks up with 5 guys in one night she is a slut? Please someone answer that because I don't get it and here is something interesting for guys out there, girls fake orgasms because guys fake relationships! Ah the big secret is out! Surprise!!! No really it's true girls do that because guys fake relationships! Guys who cheat are full of shit and so are girls. I will never cheat and yes your probably sitting there reading this thinking to yourself "But Luna surely you have wanted to" or "Luna surely there must have been a moment when you were close to kissing a guy while you were in a relationship" Yes there was one moment when I was close to kissing a guy but I didn't, I broke up with my boyfriend at the time because a month before I had fallen in love with another guy who the night before I could have kissed but didn't and wanted to make sure that I was single when I did and surprise I am still with that guy and its been 9 months!! You see my ex cheated on me and I hadn't planed on falling in love with the guy I am with now but it happened because the guy I am with now treated me how I should have been treated and still treats me like that to this day and we are more in love with each other now than we were all those months ago. So my question is why do people cheat?? I could sit here all day and rant about how society has turned to shit and how people expect you to be one thing when you want to just be who you are but I wont. So think about this post next time you want to judge someone with piercings and tattoos or people who listen to metal and soft rock at the same time. Think about how you would feel if people just judged you without getting to know you! And please don't pretend to be a person you think other want you to be, be yourself and live your own life, don't let others live it for you, they have their own.
